This past Friday we attended Martha Stewart’s annual holiday craft fair at the Starrett-Lehigh building in NYC. Many of the crafters are Martha employees, so you can imagine how inspired their wares were. The room was just brimming with talent–and great ideas for Christmas gifts! Below are some of our favorite crafters and their beautiful creations.
Above, with Lenore Welby of MSL and her gorgeous paper wreaths! Please tell us how you made them, Lenore!
These mushroom ornaments made by Hosanna Houser were just stunning. We love the idea of covering a Christmas tree with something other than traditional ornaments. You can learn how to make Hosanna’s mushrooms this week on The Martha Stewart Show so stayed tuned!

They took our breath away.

Paper flowers by floral and still-life stylist, crafter, and event designer Livia Cetti of The Green Vase.

A shot from Livia’s website of a styled arrangement of paper flowers. It’s unbelievable how life-like they look, even seeing them in real life.

A fellow Bowdoin alum, we loved Erin’s whimsical ornaments.

Amy Holbrook of AMH Designwas selling stichable journal kits that teach you to needlepoint your initials (or whatever word you want) on one of her custom, colorful notebooks. A great gift for all your crafty/wannabe crafty friends!

Handle & Spout’s feminine hair pins turn a boring bun chic. Check out their website to see some of their other hair accessories. They have some beautiful petal pink and off white pieces for brides.

Our friend (and neighbor!) Dominique Rouzier showed a collection of beautiful handmade children’s and women’s clothing. Her pieces are elegant and chic, but most importantly made to last with their impeccable craftmanship.

You can find Lisa’s work through her website, Kiki & Polly. We’d love to see a collection of these mini paintings hung on a wall. Have a great week!
