After seeing the write up on new consignment store, Decor NYC, in the Times last weekend, we stopped in yesterday to have a look. The 6,000 square foot store is on 25th between 7th and 6th in Manhattan and sells everything from period antiques to midcentury to the ’70′s and new product all at very appealing prices. Many of the items are custom pieces made by decorators that ended up not working out for clients. The store is a great resource for shoppers looking for a bargain on an antique or original work of art. We will definitely be checking in regularly as new pieces arrive daily! Here are a few great pieces from yesterday:
Not surprisingly this oversized standing lamp had sold by the time we got there. So chic!
There was lots of original art. Many great pieces in the $1,000 to $3,000 range.
A McGuire glass and faux-bamboo leg table for $1,500.
