Suzanne began her interior design career in the office of Cullman & Kravis and later as a Project Manager for the office of Thierry Despont. After a fortuitous introduction to Martha Stewart, Suzanne left the world of interior design for TV to become a Style Editor and Producer at Martha Stewart Living Television, where she oversaw hundreds of television segments focused on home decorating, collecting and crafts. She is an alumna of Barnard College and Parsons School of Design. After ten years at Martha Stewart Living Television, Suzanne returned to her roots, reopening her own design firm, Suzanne McGrath Design, in 2009. Suzanne’s daughter, Lauren, is a graduate of Bowdoin College and worked in the fashion features department at Teen Vogue magazine in New York City before joining Suzanne McGrath Design. She spent much of her childhood following Suzanne around from one job site to another and couldn’t help but get infected by the interior design bug! Good Bones, Great Pieces: The Seven Essential Pieces To Carry You Through a Lifetime (Abrams, May 1, 2012) is our first book. View our interior design portfolio here.
