latest obsession: bindya new york scarves

Published on Nov 3rd, 2009 by goodbone

I recently stumbled upon designer Bindya Lulla and her beautiful scarves. She’s been in business for ten years now–I’m not sure how I missed her! We’re suckers for a great scarf (I wear one with pretty much every outfit in the winter) and Bindya’s textiles are so gorgeous. Here I am in one of her “Tiny Floral” scarves and my military-inspired Gryphon coat from last season. Not planning on taking this off until spring…and even then I’ll find a way to wear it.
test2Pretty paisleys in great harvest colors, love the pistachio and brown combo. The majority of her scarves for fall are a mix of wool and silk, they are soooo soft!
bindyajpg3The “Tiny Floral” pattern, below, reminds me of my favorite liberty prints. These textiles have so many great colors in them, it’s easy to see how they could be matched with almost anything you put on.

bindyajpg4What can I say, these colors take my breath away! Fabulous.

You look beautiful in that gorgeous scarf! I would love to see a “tutorial” on how you styled it to frame your face so nicely and act as a collar to your coat.

The scarves are beautiful, great find. I agree, how about some styling tips and how to use the scarf.

The scarves are gorgeous! I agree with both Amy and Pat-I need a good scarf-wearing lesson. The other trends this season seem to be hooded scarves as well as infinity/circle scarves. Any thoughts on those?
